Ancient yogis believed that to prepare our mind for meditation one has to undergo the process of physical purification. Based on this principle, all hatha yoga method classes introduce different yogic practices learned at different levels in their unique, traditional and effective form to improve your physical health. The Haṭha Yoga classes help you understand the right techniques, proper alignment, and progression of an individual’s yogic practice from yogāsana (postures), bandha (respiratory locks), mudrā (gesture), Driśti (gazing) and pranāyāma (breath control) to Śatkriyā (six purification methods).
Power Yoga is a fitness-based vinyasa practice. An offshoot of Ashtanga Yoga, it has many of the same qualities and benefits, including building internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility, as well as stress reduction.
The Yogkinesis® method combines modern science with the very best of traditional yoga to help our students learn and develop their practice with confidence and without risk of injury. The only way to know more about Yogkinesis® classes is to try them.
